Oh, my. Caligo, this is amazing work. The site looks absolutely marvellous. I can't wait for more content to be added; this one's going into my bookmarks, for sure.

Thank you girls!! You guys are the reson I needed to compile all this stuff and put it out. Theres almost no fansites out there that have more than the essentials. If you have anything to add. Even if it's a link, a story and interview, an idea or one of those 'You know you're obsessed when...' lists feel free to PM me.

Oh and I looked at your myspace too Amelia. Very nice :) and 200 followers can't be wrong!

By the way, do either of you happen to have any instant messengers?

Well, dunno if it counts, but my short story "Christobel" was hugely influenced by HOHH. If you'd like to link to it, it's in this book: [link].

Also, I seem to recall there was a wonderful sequel-fic a few years ago, involving a film crew and Doc Vannacutt's grandson, Ryan (now a DA), entering the house. I still have it someplace, although sadly it was never finished and all attempts to find the (very talented) author have been futile.

Heh, thanks! I'll have to remember that next time I get a rejection slip...;)

Not me, sorry. Used to have MSN, but it crashed and burned on me a couple of years ago, and I couldn't be bothered re-DLing it.

:D Wow.. you have your stuff on Amazon? Wish I could sell my stuff, but I've never been game enough to enter a competition or anything like that.

I shall put the link in my 'caligo' part so no onlookers can say Im using the hohh part for commercial use. Have to be very careful about what I use.

And I remember reading something like that. With a guy named Samuel who dies in the main bedroom. Used to know the author but that was back in 2001 - 2002 and even that was a breif encounter.

http://www.fallingfromgrace.org/caligo/ - heres a house on haunted hill / Xmen crossover if you ever get time. Very well written and supurb storyline. Just because if you don't like hot steamy posession love. :)

Check back on caligos-asylum soon. The gallery will be up as well as forums.

You should give it a shot! I used to be too timid to enter my stuff in contests or send it in to magazines, too, but then the thrill of writing stories for my eyes only (and for no money) began to rather wear off. :P It's worth trying, for sure.

Oh, I wasn't trying to self-promote (no, really!). It's just that that's about the only even vaguely HOHH-related thing I've got to offer; there's less stuff out there on the net than you'd imagine.

Oh! Wait, I just remembered! There's a novel called Scream Queen by Edo Van Belkom, another story that's heavily HOHH-influenced; in fact, he even name-checks the film in the body of the text. It's a very fun read, very much in the Dark Castle spirit; here's the Amazon listing for it: [link]

Yes, I exchanged a couple of emails with her too; nice girl (lady?), but she seems to have vanished into the ether. Which is rather tragic, because I was utterly addicted to that story. If you're out there, Author Whose Name I Can't Remember, let us know!
